sailing in light rain (new and improved)

I am proud to have finally produced a small sewing project for our companionway that makes sailing in the rain a bit more comfortable. It is literally just a rectangle of waterproof material that we snap to the sliding hatch so we can go in and out or check navigation without soaking the steps. I used a hunk of batten left over from our main sail for structure and weight in the bottom hem. Certainly a monumental occasion worthy of a cellphone video!
